La Grande Dégustation de Montréal 2022

After 2 year, La Grande Dégustation de Montréal is finally back with an updated program, new location and 1600+ products from 25 countries for all of us to try!

La Grande Dégustation basics

After a two years hiatus, La Grande Dégustation de Montreal is not only back, but will rebirth with updated concept and appearance.

Over are the days of the gray mausoleum that is Place Bonaventure, this time it’s all about the glam and windows of the Quai du Vieux Port.

This year, more than 1600 products from 280 wine and spirit makers and distillers hailing from 25 countries will be present including such countries as France, Spain and Italy. The event is taking place from October 20 through 22 and will be open for the public starting on day 2.

Alambika will take part in La Grande Dégustation 2022

Don't miss Alambika's booth on the second floor. As every year, our top bartenders as well as guests mixologues will be transforming the spirits you got from distillers into jaw dropping creations!

No menu here: just come in with you vodka, gin, rum, whisky, what have you, tell us if you feel more like tropical fruits, flowers, berries, etc and we will create you a custom cocktail!

Plus, we will have a pop up store to allow you to get top glassware, cocktail kits and the like with a trade-show discount.

Last but not least, tons of cool products (cocktail syrups, cherries, olives, bitters, etc.) will be on display for you to sample for free.

Yeah but what about the cocktails at La Grande Dégustation?

Alambika will be located at the entrance of the second floor, next to two new partners SAQ and Educalcool. This year, our team will be in charge of Educalcool booth creating cocktails with Lyre's, Statera and HP, Noroi, Juniper Non-Alcoholic spirits as well as All-the-Bitters bitters and Grüvi beers and wine! Please, feel free to come visit us there too! The mocktails will be served for free! The objective of the presence of Educalcool and our collaboration during La Grande Dégustation de Montréal is to promote their new low alcool and mockatil website named Alternalcool.

Also, for the first time, SAQ staff will be serving cocktails using prime Alambika products! Keep an eye out for the cocktail made with La Chaufferie's Foreman Gin based on Prosyro Blueberry and Amer Kebek aromatic bitters! A tasty Gimlet using the delicious Breakfast Gin by 1769 will also be offered at the State Liquor Store booth.

Not to forget, Alambika is also giving a workshop on Friday at 19:00-19:45 that is titled Atelier Cocktails alcool et sans alcool - come learn about new trends in the industry. We will be thrilled to share!
